i found you.

So, I have to post about this. why? because it was the bomb.edu/awesome.

If you know anything about my taste in music then you would know that Evan is a Vegan by Arrah and the Ferns is one of my favorite albums, that it impacted my life in a lovely sentimental way and that I draw a lot of inspiration from it when writing my own music.

Well earlier this week, thanks to one Ben Saylor, this band played two shows in our area to promote their new album, “All the Bad in one Place” (which is really fantastic). Ben told me I could let them stay at my place if I wanted and of course I could not refuse!

The band turned out to be an amazing group of people, I could not have asked for more courteous or entertaining houseguests. They played one show in Sarasota and one in St. Pete (that we opened for, but now I wish we hadn’t, since I could barely function due to the extreme nervousness, I mean c’mon).

The entire experience was really surreal, and even though they are not the most famous band in the world, I would house them over Radiohead or Coldplay any day of the week.

It was awesome.
